How to create a BLE Locking account?


1. Download our mobile app, either from Apple App Store or Google Play Store. 2. Open the app, register your details and follow instructions.




I haven’t received a confirmation email.


Please check the Spam or Promotions folder. If there’s nothing from BLE Locking,make sure the email address you entered is correct.




I forgot my password.


In the BLE Locking app, click on “Forgot password” at the bottom of the page and follow the instructions.




How do I change my password?


1. Log in to app.blelocking.com 2. Click on “Settings” at the bottom left of the page. 3. Enter your new password and save it.




How do I change my email address?


1. Log in to app.blelocking.com 2. Click on “Settings” at the bottom left of the page. 3. Enter your new email address, click “Save” and verify it in your email inbox.




How do I change my mobile number?


1. Log in to app.blelocking.com 2. Click on “Settings” at the bottom left of the page. 3. Enter your new mobile number and click “Save”





Functionality

How do I get a digital key?


There are 2 ways to get a digital key: 1. The key is generated to you once you register your BLE Locking device (e.g., Standard module, Euro Cylinder, etc.) in the BLE Locking mobile app. 2. A device owner shares a key to you.




How do I add a new user?


1. In the BLE Locking mobile app, click on the lock to which you wish to add the user. 2. Click “Add user” and follow the instructions.




How do I install the Standard module?


You may find our installation video, for installing it to a gate, here: blelocking.com/support PS! You should always consult with an electrician before installing the module.




How do your products work?


1. Install your BLE Locking device. 2. Download the BLE Locking mobile app and register an account. 3. Add your device in the app by scanning the QR-code from it. 4. Your digital key is ready to be used.




How do I share keys?


1. In the BLE Locking mobile app, click on the key that you wish to share. 2. Click “Add user” and follow the instructions.




I added a new digital lock in the app, but the digital key does not show.


Please refresh the “All keys” tab in the app. If you still cannot see the new key, log out and log back in.




Can I change the time of how long the lock stays open?


Yes, but only if you are the owner of the lock. 1. Make sure your phone is close to the lock. 2. Log in to the BLE Locking mobile app. 3. Open the “All keys” tab and click on the key. 4. Click on the “pencil icon” and choose “Relay”. 5. Change the impulse time.




How to give admin rights to users?


1. Log in to app.blelocking.com 2. Choose a device and click on the “3 dots menu”. 3. Click on “Manage users”. 4. Click on the “3 dots menu” and then “Make admin”.




Can the owner of a device be changed?


Yes! You can transfer your ownership to another user/admin. 1. Log in to app.blelocking.com 2. Choose a device and click on the “3 dots menu”. 3. Click on “Transfer ownership”. 4. Enter the email address of the user that will become the owner. 5. Enter your own password and click “Change”.




Is there a way to open the locks without clicking the button?


Yes! You may shake the phone to open the locks in range. For that, you need to enable “Automatic opening”. 1. Log in to the BLE Locking mobile app. 2. Open the “All keys” tab and click on a key. 3. Activate the “Enable automatic opening” button.




What is the maximum number of keys per lock that I can generate?


You may generate as many keys as you wish. There is no limit.




Can I change the user of a shared digital key?


No. If you wish to give access to a new user, you need to share a new key.




Can I see information about who has opened the digital lock that I own?


Yes! You can see the access log by logging in to app.blelocking.com/logs




Can I delete the access log?


No, the access log cannot be deleted.




How do I delete my key?


1. If you are an owner of a device. a. Log in to app.blelocking.com b. Choose a device and click on the “3 dots menu”. c. Click on “Remove from owner”. d. Enter your password and click “Change”. 2. You are a user/admin of a device. a. Log in to app.blelocking.com b. Choose a device and click on the “3 dots menu”. c. Click on “Remove from device users”. d. Enter your password and click “Change”.

I have a new phone; can I still use my digital keys?


Yes! Simply download the BLE Locking app, log in and all your keys are ready to be used.




My phone got lost/stolen.


If your phone gets lost/stolen and you need to use your digital key, you may use a spare phone (e.g., your friend’s/neighbor’s) for temporary access.

What are the main advantages of the product?


The main advantage is having all your digital keys in one place. The door to your home, office, or garage, along with a gate or any other accessway with an electric lock, can have a digital key, located in your smartphone, all in one app.




In what temperatures do your products work?


The working temperature of our devices are from -40°C to 75°C




Can I install the devices myself?


For the BLE Locking Standard module, we advise to get an electrician to install the device. The Euro Cylinder can be easily installed by yourself.




How much do the digital keys cost?


The first 10 keys are free. The prices of the keys start from €1.




What happens if there is a power outage?


Standard module: The device will stop working during power outage and will continue as normal once connected to power supply. Euro Cylinder: The device works with a battery and will continue to work as normal.




Does the Euro Cylinder need the Standard module to function?


No! The Euro Cylinder is a separate product from our Standard module that can generate digital keys on its own.




Does the Euro Cylinder allow the use of physical keys?


No. The Euro Cylinder will replace your door’s cylinder so your keys will no longerbe usable.




What type of lock do I need to connect the Standard module?


Our Standard module can be connected to any type of electric lock or motor.




Do your products need internet to work?


No! Our products work via Bluetooth.




Where should I install the Standard module?


The Standard module needs to be installed in close proximity to the lock.




Which batteries does the Euro Cylinder need to work?


The Euro Cylinder requires one CR2 lithium battery.
